Ever make a project and think you can do better? That is how I felt when I made my original card using this set. I challenged myself to create using purple which is not a colour I use often. So over the last few weeks I have been thinking and Pinterest cruising and came up with a few more ideas. One was the fun Valentine I posted on Saturday and the next is this one:
I created a square 4.25 x 4.25 base and then added a pink mat and a white base layer. I stamped out the donuts on Hammermill paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and went to town colouring them with my copics. I just pulled markers and played until I found combos I liked together! I was having so much fun doing this that I totally forgot to write down the combos. I really like them too so am a bit ticked at myself!
I then used my ScanNCut to cut out the donuts and then a die to cut out the center. Once I had them done, I layered them on the base, added the sentiment but something was missing. I added the hearts and that finished it off for me! What do you think?
